CONSTRUCTION OF CHECKDAM ACROSS BHIMA RIVER NEAR MADRI VILLAGE IN JEWARGI TALUKA OF KALABURAGI DISTRICT (UNDER PM-MITRA SCHEME FOR THE YEAR 2024-25. The project focuses on the construction of a checkdam across the Bhima River near Madri village to store 3.63 MLD (46.79 Mcft) of water which is required for utilization at upcoming Mega Textile Park being developed under the PM MITRA Scheme, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India at Kalaburagi. This is a broad-crested weir-type checkdam which is aligned straight across the Bhima River and extends on either flank. The Height of storage of the Checkdam is 2.50 m and total length of Checkdam is 280.00 m.
